“Scrap Metal, Precious Metal” was selected to be part of the International Association of Pastel Societies' 30th Juried Exhibition in Albuquerque this summer.  This exhibit is in conjunction with its international convention with happens every two years; 2017.

“End of the Workday” and “Autumn Reds” were juried into the 2017 Richeson 75 Small Works Competition. “Set Far Back” was also given a Meritorious recognition. The exhibit is held at the Richeson School of Art & Gallery in Kimberly, WI; 2017.

"End of the Workday" and October Backroad" was juried into the 2016 International Association of Pastel Societies' Web Show.  The exhibit can be viewed at www.iapspastel.org. 

I was honored to have been selected as one of the three artists “To Be Discovered” in the Oct./Nov. issue of Pratique des Arts, a beautiful art magazine published in France.

“Kings River Bridge”, won the Virginia Cammack Award for Pastel and Drawing at the Artists of Norwest Arkansas 2016 Regional Exhibition on at the Fayetteville Underground, Fayetteville, AR.

“Time to Rest”, “Look Both Ways”, and “Just that Moment” were accepted into the juried exhibition Heart of America Artists Association 2016 Illinois River Salon. 

“Backyard Fences” was selected for the Pastel Society of America’s 44th Annual Exhibition” Enduring Brilliance. The exhibit was held at the National Arts Club in New York City.

"Kings River Bridge was  included in the 2016 IAPS exhibition at the Salmagundi Club in NYC.

"Just Past Union Church", "Hidden Away" and "Idle Field" have been accepted into the 2015 Illinois River Salon Art Exhibit. Exhibit dates are October 7-November 28 with an Opening Reception at Crystal Bridges, Museum of American Art in Bentonville, AR on October 14th, 2015.

“Summer Barn”, was awarded a Merit Award in the Pastel Society of the Southwest’s 2015 National Juried Exhibition. The exhibit will be on display in Grapevine, TX on October 31, 2015.

“Reaching for the Evening Sky" was awarded the Virginia Cammack Award for Best in Drawing and Pastel in the Artists of Northwest Arkansas 21st Regional Art Exhibition held at the Fayetteville Underground in Fayetteville, AR, Oct. 2015.  

“Silent Drama” was selected for the 2015 Pastel Society of America’s annual juried exhibit “Enduring Brilliance” in New York City, 2015.  The September exhibit will be held at the National Arts Club in New York City. 

"Abandoned", "Detour", and "Light on a Spring Morning", selected for the "Oklahoma Impressionism Exhibition" sponsored by The University of Tulsa’s Henry Zarrow Center for Art and Education in conjunction with the "California Impressionism Exhibition" at the Gilcrease Museum in Tulsa, OK, 2015. 

"The Quickening" was selected for inclusion for the Selections from the Permanent Collection Exhibit at the RAM (Regional Art Museum) in Fort Smith, AR, 2015.

"Evening Shoreline" and "Reaching for the Evening Sky" were accepted into the Northwest Pastel Society’s 29th Annual International Open Exhibit in Tacoma, WA, 2015. "Evening Shoreline" was selected for the "Award of Excellence".

"Silent Drama" was awarded one of five Merit Awards at the 2014 Illinois River Salon Exhibit. "Evening Shoreline" was also selected for the exhibit.

"A Splendid Morning" was awarded the President's Award at the Northwest Pastel Society 28th Annual International Open Exhibit, 2014.

"Light on New Fields" selected for the Northwest Pastel Society 28th Annual International Open Exhibit, 2014.

"The Harvest" was selected for the 24th International Association of Pastel Societies Juried Exhibition, 2014.

"Snow at Sunset" selected for the Richeson 75 Landscapes, Seascapes & Architecture 2014 Exhibition.

"A Beautiful Ending" was awarded and Honorable Mention in the Richeson 75 Landscapes, Seascapes & Architecture 2014 Exhibition.

"Boxley Barn" was awarded "Best of Show at the 2013 Ozark Pastel Society Annual Competition by juror Kim Casebeer.

"Catching the Light" was awarded third place in the Miniatures category for the Ozark Pastel Society Annual Competition, 2013.

"The Harvest" was awarded the "Arkansas Artist Award" at the 2013 national competition "Reflections in Pastel" sponsored by the Arkansas Pastel Society and juried by Richard McKinley.

"Morning Whisper" was selected for the Heart of America Illinois River Watershed Salon Competition, 2013.

"Catching the Golden Light" was selected for the Fort Smith Regional Art Museum River Valley Invitation Exhibit, 2013.

Painting “Morning on the Buffalo” won “Best of Show” at the 2012 Ozark Pastel Society Annual Competition juried by Liz Haywood-Sullivan.

Painting “The Harvest” won First Place in Landscapes at the 2012 Ozark Pastel Society Annual Competition juried by Liz Haywood-Sullivan.
